    Pop Up Experience

Join us to create some fun crafts and engage in discussion!

“What If…” it was second nature for unwanted materials to be diverted from the landfill and transformed into something beautiful and useful, inspiring sustainable design choices and empowering everyone to embrace their creativity through upcycling. Stop by our Pop-Up to create crafts from upcycled materials donated by local Commercial Manufacturers, Architecture and Design firms (or snag a take-home kit), and explore your own creative potential using readily available materials.

Waste Becomes Wonder asks you to consider “What If…” we embrace a more sustainable approach to creativity in our own lives? We hope you will join us to create some fun crafts from upcycled materials and learn more about our annual ZeroLandfill event. In the Architecture and Design Industry, design firm libraries often overflow with expired or unused materials destined for landfills. We challenged that by asking, “What If…” we upcycled these resources instead?” Now, these unwanted materials become valuable again, finding new life as free supplies for educators and non-profits, or inspiring artistic creations for crafters and artists.

Join us to create some fun crafts and engage in discussion about responsible resource use while we work to connect the industry with local community organizations and individuals that can re-use what our local designers no longer need.

Presented in partnership with ZeroLandfill Seattle.
