2020 Call for Proposals –
re-opening soon!
This year’s theme, About Time, sought to ponder past, present and future at a unique moment of transition for the city, the region and the world. Instead, it presently confronts the reality of a global public health crisis and its profound impact on our daily lives. We are aware the impact this crisis has had on everyone’s daily lives, and realize that many of us are living and working day by day. The way that we collaborate has changed, and priorities are shifting.
While the traditional physical experiences – including the Block Party and Neighborhood Spotlights – have been canceled, the festival will now feature digital programming, virtual installations and exhibitions, as well as remote experiences.
We will be re-releasing our Call for Proposals by April 27 and extending our submission deadline to June 15. Join us for our second virtual Design Jam Saturday, April 25, from 9am-Noon, as we explore what going virtual means for the Seattle Design Festival.
