A huge thanks to everyone who was able to make the time and space for last night’s virtual gathering! It was amazing to see so many members of our community gather so early to start building excitement for this year’s Seattle Design Festival. Over 60 people gathered to learn more about who we are, what we do, and the amazing volunteers who lead our work.
Attendees took part in a public vote to select the 2024 Seattle Design Festival theme. This theme will be announced publically early next month. But what if you are too excited to wait until March? Reach out to your community to see who was able to attend! Maybe, just maybe, they’ll get you the inside scoop.
We also shared some important upcoming dates-
April 3 Call for Proposals Launches— This document will introduce our 2024 theme statement and provide an overview of what you propose as part of the Festival. It will also link you to our Submittable site, which is how you will submit your proposal!
April + May Design mixers— We are excited to plan some opportunities to connect- both in person and remotely- so that you can ask questions about the call and connect with potential collaborators!
