The 2023 SDF Planning Team

Curious about the Seattle Design Festival Planning Team?

The Seattle Design Festival is organized and produced by a committed group of volunteers – the Festival Planning Team. For over 12 years, SDF has relied on volunteers to manage the Festival as a whole, and produce specific components within the Festival. Together, they develop our annual call for proposals to connect communities and unleash the design thinker in everyone to illuminate Seattle’s challenges and ignite action. Last week the team met to review submissions from our community. We are excited to share that they have accepted proposals from 67 community partners.

Over the next month, our team of Festival volunteers will be working with our community partners to refine their proposals, ensuring that the experiences featured at SDF 2023:CURIOSITY are accessible, intersectional, and inviting.
