As designers begin to hold more conversations around justice, equity, and inclusion, we want to translate the hidden identities into the built environment. The physical form of these “voices” acknowledges the differences of the Seattle community.
Adding your voice to the pavilion acknowledges the diversity of the Seattle community. Ensuring your interaction does not become lost in an anonymous abstraction (ie: color, shape), we are celebrating independence, personal storytelling, and identity of each person through the written word. This collection of voices and lived experiences are assembled together to create physical space, rendering identity and personal storytelling into three-dimensional volume.
