Our submission is informed by ARCADE’s mission: to host an inclusive and insightful dialogue on the designed environment. The exhibit will invite visitors to think about and comment on what design means to them, and co-create a piece of public art through their engagement. Feedback will be documented artistically through paper-mâché using past issues of ARCADE magazine as our raw materials. The installation will become a living artifact of the public process and ARCADE’s role within it.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and donors, the Seattle Design Festival was able to fund this partner, to engage youth in the design process, leverage co-design, and improve the community engagement process,  inspiring action with lasting impact.
