  • Push and pull different mechanisms along the wall to create a structure where openings and connections appear and dissolve through the interactions!

Throughout history, walls have always been built to set boundaries and separate people spatially and socially. The rigid structure often resembles authority and power with the intention to keep people away from each other. However, what if, instead of dividing, walls can function as a means to connect people?

With operable features and thresholds, Glimpse transforms a rigid wall into a dynamic playing facade that allows people to interact with the structure and each other across the form. As the weekend progresses the form will ebb and flow through the interaction of its participants. Each interaction adds another layer of evolution, at times transforming to a more open form, at others more closed, based on how each person chooses to interact with the opposite side and with the structure itself.
