Fans of art, physics, and realms beyond our galaxy: come to the Bellwether Housing Booth C-11 to release a stream of paint and make elliptical patterns on plywood canvases. There also will be a mathematical curve drawing activity for kids of all ages.

We invite people to gently swing a cup of paint over a 4’ by 4’ plywood panel, creating a series of curves like overlapping patterns of planetary orbits. Cross time and space with gravity and the flow of paint. How will each piece turn out? We don’t know, but we’re excited to see the results! The paintings will be installed in a new affordable apartment building opening this fall, The Aries at Bitter Lake.
