Come join us for a weekend of creativity, innovation, and learning! The VR Hackathon is an opportunity to learn about Virtual Reality and other immersive technologies, to meet new people, and to get hands-on experience with VR design and development. The VR hackathon isn’t just about technology, however – it’s about design, creation, and problem solving. If you have interest in art, graphics, 3D modelling, film, education, sound design, game design, or business, the VR hackathon will be an event you’ll enjoy.

Seattle VR is a loose association of community groups and enthusiasts dedicated to furthering the growth of immersive technologies and their application in the Greater Seattle region. We celebrate the diverse public interests of our members and encourage to create and run events that address them within the community. These interests include ethics, specific application domains, diversity and social justice, technical excellence, and learning, among many more.

VR mixer (Friday night) – free, but mostly of interest to practitioners and enthusiasts.
Sunday afternoon Expo – free and open to all.

The Hackathon runs 24/7 from its opening on Friday 9/16 through its closing on Sunday 9/18.
Full weekend and hackathon participation – $60 (includes meals).
