You know what they say: distance makes the heart grow fonder.
But really: Does socially/physically distancing ourselves make us fonder of where we live? As we dust off our social lives and emerge from social distancing, how can we gather safely, joyously, and expressively? How has our city changed and how can we get to know this ‘new’ place (physically, psychologically). This is an opportunity to do just that.
How to participate:
Bring your headphones and charged phone with the Spotify app. Meet at the SDF Block Party Pop-up Zone!
10am: Welcome & technology support. Scan the QR code provided on-site to join the fun.
10:15am: Countdown to hit ‘play’! Playlist to be released on the day – we promise there will be songs that pump you up to stay moving for at lease 45 minutes.
This is a ‘come as you are’ event (no formal training required).
