Play a completely new instrument with all your limbs! You’ll learn about how MIDI works within music softwares and how design, engineering, and electronics can make music more expressive!
Out of Hand is a MIDI instrument that reads big, expressive movements by the player or players. To activate a note, a player presses a footswitch. The sound can be modified by pulling one of the retractable cords from the upper part of the instrument. You’ll be playing and experimenting with the instrument, making music right before your ears, all by yourself (or perhaps with friends)!
