How can we envision a future with hands-on creation and creative upcycling processes?
In this workshop, we will embark on a journey of reimagining the future through the power of our own hands and the art of repurposing. The first part will center around speculative futuring and the development of personalized design fiction.
After an inspiration share focused on the creative process, participants will be encouraged to explore how incorporating upcycling practices can enhance their creative processes. In the active part of the workshop, participants will experience creating functional objects, including lights, bags, and fashion accessories, with reusable material. Given a second life and a twist to the material’s functionality and aesthetics, the objects that we invite all the participants to create will return to being a part of our everyday life.
