The Seattle Design Festival is a platform for bold design conversations. We believe that design is for everyone and that inclusive co-design practices are essential to shaping an equitable Seattle. We are multidisciplinary, socially engaged and civic minded.
“Echo” is a quiet, light-based installation that invites visitors to slow down and observe. Using minimal materials and soft, non-flickering light, it creates a contemplative space where shadows respond subtly to movement and presence. Inspired by themes of memory, perception, and home, the work offers a gentle sensory experience accessible to viewers of all ages and abilities. Visitors may explore the piece at their own pace — there are no instructions, no pressure, and no barriers. “Echo” is fully self-contained, requires no power, and will be monitored by the artist team throughout the day to ensure safety and accessibility for all.
