What do you call your part of town? What have you named your own neighborhood? With our pop-up, “Name That Neighborhood,” architecture practice House Cosmopolitan along with urban design practice Smash the Box aim to gather that exact feedback.
Using the City’s own neighborhood maps as the starting point, we’re asking you to provide us with your own personal boundaries of the neighborhood you call home. With this information, we hope to define an even clearer and closer definition of every neighborhood and designation used across Seattle.
In providing feedback, there’s no wrong answer; all we ask is for the smallest and most specific definition of what you call your own quarter. You can join the conversation online at our website or provide your feedback in-person during the festival. All ages and all walks of life are encouraged to attend and engage and help us note and name every piece of the Emerald City.
