The Seattle Design Festival is a platform for bold design conversations. We believe that design is for everyone and that inclusive co-design practices are essential to shaping an equitable Seattle. We are multidisciplinary, socially engaged and civic minded.
Resonance is an immersive installation that invites visitors to step away from the noise of daily life and into a space shaped by quiet. Designed as a walkable vessel, the structure surrounds participants with shifting reflections of themselves and others—inviting a different kind of feedback. Here, feedback isn’t critique or noise. It emerges through stillness. As visitors move through the form, their reflections change, multiply, and dissolve—mirroring the fluid nature of self-perception and connection. In this moment of pause, quiet becomes the experience. Stillness becomes the signal. Reflection becomes the tool. In a world defined by distraction and constant input, Resonance offers a rare space to slow down, tune in, and rediscover what it means to simply be—with oneself and with others.
