The Seattle Design Festival is a platform for bold design conversations. We believe that design is for everyone and that inclusive co-design practices are essential to shaping an equitable Seattle. We are multidisciplinary, socially engaged and civic minded.
Our installation is a series of surfaces both horizontal and vertical which when ‘tuned’ will provide Feedback through direct contact by individual participants and sounds shared with others. A horizontal net surface produces a form of collective Feedback that is tuned and shaped by individuals playing with and adjusting various vertical support surfaces to form both individual and group Resonant Feedback.
The team is inspired by and wants participants to engage in various forms of Feedback generated through touch and movement, resulting in reflection, resonance, reverberation and rebound. Our installation generates ways to connect various people through sound and touch toward positive change by experiencing the world around us together.
