The Seattle Design Festival is a platform for bold design conversations. We believe that design is for everyone and that inclusive co-design practices are essential to shaping an equitable Seattle. We are multidisciplinary, socially engaged and civic minded.
Small Things Considered will provide native wildflower seeds and natural materials for you to create take-away seed mixes and mini-design interventions that can be installed where they feel necessary. Where can you spark moments of discovery and connection with the natural world in your neighborhood or community?
Our team of landscape architects and designers will guide you in creating your own custom, pollinator-friendly seed mix. Natural materials will be available for you to create miniature-scale figurines and structures. Could your design be the bearer of your future garden? Bring home your creations and place them in your garden or near a neighborhood tree to bring new life to your favorite outdoor space.
