The Seattle Design Festival (SDF) is a 501c3 nonprofit and the region’s largest multidisciplinary design event, bringing together 8,000+ attendees annually to celebrate how design shapes our communities. We believe design is for everyone and that inclusive co-design practices are essential to creating an equitable Seattle. Through events developed by diverse community partners, SDF engages people from all walks of life in meaningful conversations about how thoughtful design can address our city’s pressing challenges. That’s a Wrap on SDF 2026: IN[FLUX]!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Seattle Design Festival! This year’s theme of IN[FLUX] asked for our community to explore design’s role in navigating times of change and uncertainty – and it delivered. 84 design teams came together to develop immersive Built Installations, engaging Pop-Ups, and dynamic Mainstage Programs exploring UX, fashion sustainability, performing arts, accessible design, and more. The Seattle Design Festival is truly a community-powered effort – thank you to everyone who attended, partnered, volunteered, sponsored, and participated in making the 16th Seattle Design Festival a resounding success!
